Family of Claiborn Gregory (Sr.) - Wayne County, KY

Claiborn Gregory (Sr.) was born c. 1808 in Wayne Coutny, KY. I believe,
but can not prove, that his parents were Flemming Gregory and Elizabeth Bell
Gregory who left Virginia and arrived in Wayne County about 1803-1805.

Claiborn (Sr.) married Mary "Polly" Decker 10 March 1830. Polly was the
daughter of John and Elizabeth Decker. Polly's grandfather, George Decker
was a Revolutionary War soldier from New York state.

Claiborn and Polly were the parents of eight known children:
They include: Sarah Jane (Gregory) Gilreath, Sidney G. Gregory,
Joseph Gregory, Julia (Gregory) Gibson, Mary (Gregory) Decker/Smith
Nancy Emmaline (Gregory) Gilreath, Angeletta (Gregory) Bell, Claiborn H. Gregory.
Three of their children are pictured below and would greatly appreciate
locating photos of these other children.
