Several members of the Hayden Gregory family moved to the area of
Crawford County, Arkansas. It appears that his son Hiram Gregory
(1835-1914) was one of the first to leave Kentucky. By the 1860's
several of Hayden's children and grandchildren were living in Arkansas.
Hayden and his wife Mary "Polly" Martin Gregory were some of the last of
his family to leave Kentucky. At the age of 74, Hayden was still
living in Wayne County, KY with his wife Mary in the 1880 census.

Haden was the son of Mordecai Gregory (b. abt 1776 VA) and his wife
Jane Burk. Mary Martin Gregory was born in Tennessee, parents unknown.
They married in Wayne County, KY on Dec 2, 1830.

Melinda Gregory, daughter of Hayden Gregory & Polly Martin
Born in Wayne County, Melinda moved to Arkansas about 1860.
She was the mother of three sons:
Jackie John Gregory, Riley Gary Gregory, & Marion Gregory
